"We can allow endings to be sacred."
I feel these 7 words really capture the true essence of Farhana Dhalla's teachings. She is a leading life coach, mentor and author on empowerment within relationships. Her recent book "Thank You For Leaving Me" assists the reader through those difficult periods of relationship break-ups by guiding them from a space of suffering, bitterness and hurt into power and gratitude. As she says "these experiences didn't happen to me, they happened FOR me". With this slight adjustment of our mental thoughts forms we completely transform how we relate to the ending of a relationship. Rather than being a victim and revelling in the suffering that comes from separation, we awaken the power within us and are able to embrace the relevance of what occurred. Shelley, Lee and Jeri – thank you for hearing this with your heart. Our brain will rationalize many things but when we hear with our heart, we KNOW things even when evidence doesn’t support it. Much love to you all. Farhana
