Something For Us (Yes Me Included) Meat Eaters to Watch
I know I will surprise many people, as I often have, when I tell you that I am a meat eater. Why that surprises many is because I am a meditation teacher and it is believed by many that meditation and meat eating don't usually go hand in hand. Well, there you go, yes, I eat meat. However, (yep, here comes the 'however') I'd truly love not to. But I do. I'm not going to go into detail about my eating habits only to say that when I do eat meat, I offer a simple prayer of gratitude and blessing to the animal that surrendered it's life for my nourishment. Now, for all of us meat eaters, here is a challenging but very important speech by the ex Vice President of Citibank on the impact meat eating has on the planet and it's animals. It's intense, it may challenge you a bit, but it's well worth it.
