Your Help is Needed to Find Kony

Holocaust survivor Simon Wiesenthal once said:
“For evil to flourish, it only requires good men to do nothing.”

Well film maker Jason Russell is a good man, and he is doing everything he possibly can to prevent evil from flourishing.

Now, he is asking for your help.

Russell has started a movement, or campaign, to capture a man in Uganda called Joseph Kony.  

Over a period of nearly 30 years, Kony has been the leader of the Lord’s Resistance Army and has abducted children, forced the boys to kill their parents, disfigured faces and turned the girls into sex slaves.

This has been going on and on and on, unchecked for 30 years. Jason Russell and the humanitarian group “Invisible Children” want it to end.

They believe real change rarely comes from the top and trickles down to the masses. They believe that it actually comes from the masses, they drive sentiment and market power that invokes change at the top.

So using social media to spread an awareness about Kony they believe they will trigger the groups that have the power at the top to effectively bring Kony in to trial and end the suffering and devastation he is causing in Uganda.
